Hong Kong based readers will be pleased to know that Canon called upon Japanese fashion designer, Mihara Yasuhiro to design this map bag style camera case for their Canon G10 camera. Truth be told, it looks to fit just about any G Series camera including the G10’s famous older brother, the G9. Finding a proper bag for the G series has been a pain for a while now. We think this leather one does it well.  Available now through the Canon Image2 Showroom or online(via kix-files)

  1. As a Hong Kong based reader, what\’s the particular relevance to us?

Don\’t get me wrong – it looks like a good bag. Is it available at a discount in HK? Is the camera only available in HK?

I think that this case really looks the part, it’s a future classic, the attention to the detailing is second to none and it’s functionality is intuitive. Compared to the traditional “screw-in” type of case it allows you to get up close and personal with your camera.
