If you are in the big apple this weekend don’t miss the Outsider Art Fair. This year the annual fair has moved from its original location, the Puck Building, to a more “adult” environment. Still, the art remains true to the mission of the gathering.

Head to 7 West 34th, New York, NY to visit the show, or to the New York Times for a review and related slide show.

Above is picture Untitled by Eugene Andolsek.

eugene andolsek\’s drawings are incredible, wonderful!—as yet i have not been able to find any collection of his work in either book form or magazine. are there no published collections yet of his work? if not, WHY?

  2. Robin Hatherall:

I Love the color in this piece and wish I lived in New York to see the fair, outsider art is the truth. We all know its out there. No pompous twatism just expression, love it.

  3. Published Collections? It is Outsider art. There is reason why they call it that term and its not because of mental health which some of the \’experts\’ label things, outside means not being influenced by the conventional art world, which in a modern world isnt really realitic. There are so many labels used now, if one is an outsider, we don\’t what to call ourselves anymore. dm
