French shoe manufacturer Heschung has produced two pairs of leather shoes for the Comme Des Garcons Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The set includes a black/brown leather shoe and a black wingtip shoe. Surprisingly the shoes do not feature leather soles and the soles also look rather thick. At first they look interesting, the thick sole put us off a little, but in the end you just have to check them out live in order to know what the deal is.

Heschung is known for primarily making thick, soft (not leather) soled shoes, so this seems entirely consistent with what they do. Note other men’s designers doing thick soles — Thom Browne, for one.
