Sugarcane and Co. Japan showed in the U.S. for the first time at (capsule) show in Las Vegas this week. With their first showing, Sugarcane introduces Lone Wolf Boots, a collection of leather and suede boots inspired by the rugged construction of American workwear. The standout feature in the Lone Wold Boot is the “Cat’s Paw” rubber sole which is made from “new old stock” soles made during the 50’s. We’re promised by Lone Wolf reps that the rubber is as good now as it was then. It is this collaboration between a modern boot company and their vintage U.S. material suppliers that creates a tough yet streamlined aesthetic with a throwback feel. All Lone Wolf Boots are American made.

  1. Joel K.:

Yeah, these have been around for years, but the real question is whether Sugarcane will make them larger than a 9 1/2 or 10.

  2. Clint:

Lone Wolf SHOULD be available up to a size 12 for Spring 2010. Things are being done to achieve this without hurting quality.
