Ionut Predescu’s Wire Bike proposes replacing a fully tubed frame with some kevlar wire. The tensil strength of the wire is leveraged against the compression strength of two carbon tubes. The result? A lighter bike, and an interesting experiment. Got to wonder how it rides… (via Yanko Design).
