Max & Susanne Double Breasted Jacket

max susanne double breasted coat Max & Susanne Double Breasted Jacket

This Motorcyle/Pea coat hybrid looks like the type of jacket we’d only see in Japanese stores, but thankfully (or not so thankfully if you’re not in the USA) this is from an American store. The jacket is even hand made in New York City. It’s made from a cashmere-wool blend and has navy satin lining. Most importantly, the buttons are a contrasting colour to the jacket – a feature that most designers overlook, even though it adds so much to the garment. Get it from The Black Buoy.

Edifice Polka Dot Shirts

Polka dot shirts are one of those items that can look better if the dots are understated. Take this Edifice polka dot for example. In the styling shot you can’t even see the dots, although they are clearly visible on the closer pictures. If you’re a little bored of checked patterns, this will be the shirt for you. Get it from Style Cruise.

Adam Kimmel Wallabees

adam kimmel wallabees 04 Adam Kimmel Wallabees

The first thing that pops into our heads when wallabees are mentioned is the intro to Raekwon’s ‘Glaciers of Ice‘, when Ghostface talks about dip dying his clarks. The second thing is that these Adam Kimmel wallabees manage to make a wallabee/espadrille combo look clean and crispy. Essentially, these are wallabees made using the material that would be used in espadrille and they look all the better for it.

Take a look at detailed pictures after the jump.

These are available from Colette.

junya watanabe reversible jackets front Junya Watanabe Spring/Summer 2009 Reversible Blazers & Jacket

Some of our favrorite pieces from the Junya Watanabe Spring/Summer 2009 Collection have finally been released. The Japanese designer created some smart reversible pieces for his new collection. There are overall 4 reversible blazers – two with check inner jackets and two with solid color inner jackets. The trench coat inspired jacket is also reversible and has a solid blue inner jacket. We like the idea of being able to entirely change looks without changing jacket.

Browns has all five pieces in stock now. More detailed images of the Junya Watanabe Reversible Blazers and Jacket follow after the jump.

Clarks Desert Boots “Wolf”

clarks desert boots wolf Clarks Desert Boots Wolf

We have officially found our favorite colorway of the Clark Desert Boot. The “Wolf” colorway sits between the sand and cola styles, is thus not too light and not too dark.

They are now available at Oi Polloi and they also give us the background story of the boot, that we had not heard before – “Rarely seen, ‘Wolf’ coloured version of the classic Clarks desert boot, created in 1950 by Nathan Clark who got the idea from crepe-soled, rough suede boots which officers in the Eighth Army were in the habit of getting made in the Bazaar at Cairo.” That’s the great thing with such classic styles – there is always a background story.

You can get them now here.

Omega Seamaster Diver Watch for Vancouver 2010

omega seamaster olympics 2010 vancouver front Omega Seamaster Diver Watch for Vancouver 2010

Ablogtoread gets it right on the new Omega Seamaster Diver Watch for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. “There is nothing wild about this limited edition Omega watch, and frankly that is the way I like my Omega limited edition watches. Nothing too avant garde, just a good sober looking timepiece with a nice theme. Omega is pretty much obligated to release limited edition watches for the Olympics. First, they are the official timekeeper for the Olympics (since 1932). Wouldn’t it look silly if they didn’t celebrate that fact every two years?”

Barbour Leather Travel Explorer Bag

barbour leather travel bag front Barbour Leather Travel Explorer Bag

Another nice travel/holdall/whatever bag from the good people at Barbour. We would have packed this baby silly for Las Vegas this week if we had one (it’s been ordered), but we’ll have to deal with second best. We love the check lining inside the bag and the inner zip compartment for the private stash. You cannot beat the leather finish on this bag. Get it now from Oi Polloi – from the land of  the Stone Roses. Respect.

our legacy ss09 shoes front Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2009 Shoes

Swedish brand Our Legacy has been on our radar for a couple of seasons already and the young brand has nicely developed into a full collection. This season they present a nice line-up of shoes. In their Spring/Summer 2009 collection they present the Suede Plain and the Suede Brogue shoes, both coming in a washed out navy and in beige, which is our personal favorite. Super clean, nice leather lacing, these go perfect with some quality chinos and denim.

The Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2009 Shoes are now available at Tres Bien.

Detailed images follow after the jump.
