This two volume set presents Martin Parr’s collection of objects and postcards. The book stems from an exhibition, Parrworld, curated from Thomas Weski and first show in Munich at Has Der Kunst last May. (Via Daily Icon).

Watch lovers in the market for a classic vintage look may do well by picking up the 2008/2009 Classic Wristwatches Price Guide from Abbeville Press. It’s a good reference guide to determining if that eBay sale is doing your right. The Classic Wristwatches guide tolls in at 239 pages and covers the gamut of watchmakers and you may be surprised as to what vintages wristwatches are out there. We found some new favorites by scanning the book.

You figure white canvas trainers do damn well in the nice weather so why wouldn’t this great pair of white leather shoes by Alden for Steven Alan do the same? A super clean white on white on white look that should look even better with some slight wear and tear. Scuff ‘em up, fellas.

I present this because I know we all desire the look of a Swiss passport. Nothing says neutral as well as a red bound notebook with an “equilateral white cross.” We can all accomplish this by getting out hands on one of the 500 special edition Moleskine Notebooks in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Helvetica typeface. Helmut Lang showcases their Spring/Summer 2009 collection for men. Trouser inspired shorts that fall around the knee are great looks as well as the wide array of jackets and blazers in the collection. If you still aspire for skinny pants, Mr. Lang comes through as well.

Men.style catches up with former Obedient Sons designers, Swaim and Christina to discuss their latest outing under the “Hutson” name. “Earlier this week, editors around town received specially made brass keys inscribed with the duo’s new moniker: Hutson. As advertised, the collection will make its debut this weekend (though in a less capital-intensive presentation format). Curious as to what they had in the works, we grabbed a few minutes of phone time with the couple.”

Milwaukee’s Harley-Davidson Museum might not be high on “must get to list” for everyone, but luckily some fine ephemera is on view via online exhibitions. A selection of company advertisements caught attention this morning, and are a nice contrast to the contemporary art projects revolving around the bikes these days. Check it at Harley-Davidson.

It’s not often we recommend suits (in fact, we never do) but when one is this nice we have to feature it. This Paul Smith suit is in a great shade of blue, which immediately gives it a more casual feel than a grey or black suit. If you’re the type that has no reason to wear suits, then you can easily wear each piece as separates. Get this from Matches.

Men.Style have an interesting video on Producer 88 Keys, who produced tracks on Mos Def’s Black on Both Sides and dropped an underrated album in ‘Death of Adam’ late last year, speaks on his Polo obsession.

Henrik Vibskov’s usual style is daring to say the least, so we were as surprised as anyone when we saw the Pejse bag (pictured above) carrying the designers name. Perhaps he’s showing that he can make classy items if he feels like it, or maybe it’s a sign that he will be looking to tone down his collections in the future. Either way the bag’s a winner.
