These Journal Standard trousers are a perfect example of what we’d like to see more of this season. They’ve taken notice of a growing trend (rolling up) and have used it in their design, mixing a small check pattern on the outside of the trouser with a bigger gingham print on the inside, giving it a great look when rolled. Very refreshing pants, and I love the styling with the light-blue jacket. Is there any other e-shops that carry Journal Standard? And do you know where the jacket comes from?
I like these but i’m not sure about the larger check on the turn ups. It’s verging on the sort of check you see on Vans slip-ons, a bit teenager-y for my taste.
Have to agree with Thomas, the check is too large, makes it a little heavy. But the outfit overall looks great.
