Martin Margiela’s ‘V-Man’ jacket killed it last season and if there’s one piece that looks like having the same effect for SS09, it’s this tee. As shoe styles are veering towards classic styles, it’s getting harder for us to recommend designer shoes. Why spend £400 on designer shoes when you can get a custom pair of Trickers made for £350? Now that the consumer is more educated and demanded, designers will have to step up. Mihara Yasuhiro has done just that, putting a great twist on a classic design and avoiding a gimmicky look.
