With its ash base and removable fabric upholstery the Wogg 42 Armchair is rather versatile. Created by the young Swiss designer Jorg Boner for Wogg, the upholstery is applied via press studs once folded over the frame, much like a coat. (via DecoJournal).

The BEAMS International Gallery will be hosting a fitting for the new Hiroshi Tsubouchi Custom Loafers in Japan this coming 13th and 14th of March. Customers may choose between eight customs colors, leathers, and stitching. Think ID but on pad and paper. (via openers)

COS is one of those stores that we’d feature a whole lot more if they actually had an online store. As is stands, COS have three stores in London, two in Belgium and seven in Germany. If you’re outside of those countries, then you’re out of luck. We’ve seen a huge amount of navy shoes this SS09 but these are the cleanest ones out. Numb are a footwear brand created by Yosuke Ishida. Prior to creating Numb, Ishida worked for 8 years as Mihara Yasuhiro’s assistant. Using techniques like laser printing on leather, the shoes are designed and manufactured in Yosuke home country, Japan. The shoes have the beat up, worn-in quality that we’re big fans of and the fine leather looks like it’ll age gracefully.

Lad Musician have been upping their use of canvas lately, we posted about their canvas boots and now they’ve added these bags to their range. The bags themselves are a tote/messenger hybrid and like their boots, they’re available in a multitude of colours, including red and white (pictured above) and khaki, navy, black and grey.

Two casual Monsoon jackets from NYC’s 3sixteen line. We love the slightly oversized bomber style fit on the jacket and its array of pockets and compartments. The drawstring hood is a great addition as is the full vented back. A day to day staple in or out of the field.

The MASH crew has dropped some hints of a forthcoming cycling apparel line over on Arkitip. When it comes to watches we are pretty picky, because after all the wrist watch is the only jewelry a man should really wear. Of course you have trends in the watch market as well. In the last couple of years the bigger the watch, the better it seemed. Ceramics also got really popular and especially black watches seem to be all the rage these last months, with every Swiss watch brand coming out with its own version. If we are not mistaken, the trend was started by Audemars Piquet with their Royal Oak Offshore line and the brand that most benefitted from the trend was probably Hublot, a brand once forgotten and suddenly again on the map.

Today we had a look again at the Patek Philippe ad campaign, which is pretty much the same since years, just like their watches. The slogan “You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.” is placed on all of them, usually along with a pretty cheesy father/son portrait. Even though the images could not be less real, the ads work and are still intriguing.

The accent white buttons on these two peacoats from Japan’s United Arrows sucked me right in. On top of a form fit cut, the jackets are of the short variety making them perfect length for most men under 5′8″. Find them now at Zozo.
