Tom Ford had a big hand in making double breasted blazers look attractive thanks to his modern twist on it. Now plenty of designers are featuring the DB jacket in their collections – this Kolor jacket is a good example of a classic updated correctly. Killspencer recently introduced the Repurposed Collection, a line of bags made of “used in combat” military truck tarps. The use of truck tarps is not a first – Swiss brand Freitag does it since year. Yet we appreciate the “used in combat” part of this story, as well as the use of waterproof “riri” zippers and all around high end materials and features.

A few months back Jeff posted the trailer for Objectified, a film exploring our complex interaction with manufactured things and the people that design and make them. New Yooxer has an interview with the minds behind the Les Hommes line, Tom Notte and Bart Vandebosch. “Their collections for men and women are the result of two completely different visions, which are in the creative and in search of an aesthetic of beauty that strikes a union. The silhouette is an at times sharp as a razor, sometimes elegant, and poetic ease.”
