Seeing as our Lanvin AW09 was massive, we’ve decided to split into footwear and accessories and give you guys a better look at the footwear in this collection. The footwear collection is as strong as ever, and Lanvin look set to keep their place at the top of the high end footwear range. Now that we’re starting to see high street ripoffs of Lanvin’s footwear, it’s important that they keep raising the bar and they’ve done so with this collection.

I’ve mentioned my Saeco Espresso Machine many times over on this here site, but the latest from Jura Impressa is really making me think (god forbid) or trading mine in. These wood finished Swiss machines (do the Swiss make good coffee?) are finished beautifully. “The Jura wood editions are variations of their Impressa J5 coffee machine which feature a wood veneer front. The Impressa J5 can make anything from a simple espresso to a highly complex cappuccino with ease, it features variable water temperature, an adjustable coffee spout and a coffee bean monitoring system.” Damn, this is a tough one… (via sybarites)

Tenue de Nimes is a new denim boutique in the heart of Amsterdam. The interior design has been trusted to Anothercompany. The firm developed a raw look, thinking critically about the heritage of denim. Anothercompany was founded in 2003 and has worked with clients as diverse as K-Swiss and The House of Bols. (via CB).

We’ve managed to get our hands on Lanvin’s AW09 accessories range and, as usual, it’s an amazing collection. This year they’ve taken things a step further with embroidered holdalls (pictured above) & totes, chukka boots, high tops with boat shoe lacing and wooden soled derby shoes with an added pop of colour. Their ties also feature an intricate level of detailing, as they’ve done on previous collections. Other accessories include keyrings, sunglasses, belts, hats and gloves.

COS’s accessories and mainline collection has been catching our eye for a while now and now that an online store is in the works, it’s the right time to show their AW09 accessories range. COS’s shoes are always a highlight as there well made and competitively priced (currently at 150 Euros) and they’ve added a rucksack and chunky wool mittens to the mix. We’ll be featuring COS’s mainline AW09 collection tommorow so be sure to check back for it.

These Journal Standard trousers are a perfect example of what we’d like to see more of this season. They’ve taken notice of a growing trend (rolling up) and have used it in their design, mixing a small check pattern on the outside of the trouser with a bigger gingham print on the inside, giving it a great look when rolled.
