Omega cracks the doors open on their new Fifth Avenue store in NYC this past Saturday. The entire Omega collection is available at the new location as well as classic historical pieces from their back catalog. “On display will be the OMEGA Ultra-Thin watch, which was worn by John F. Kennedy during his inaugural address in January of 1961.” Also look for a platinum version of the Omega Speedmaster Professional Apollo celebrating 40 years of astronauts wearing the beloved Speedmaster.

I recently visited the botique, and was given the opportunity to examine the 125,000 dollar platinum moonwatch. The botique is finnished to the highest standard, and the staff is knowledgeable and kind. The musem is exquisite, filled with timepieces I could only dream of owning. Despite the fact that Torneau is right around the corner, the Omega store makes the top of my list for a city trip, and well trumps Torneau any day.
