With all the heritage shoe hype going to Grenson, Church’s and Trickers, it’s easy to forget that Loake have just as much heritage as the aforementioned brands. These suede desert boots have a nice distressed look about them, which means they just might be able to withstand a random downpour. We wouldn’t risk it though. Get this from The Three Threads.

Take a look at detailed shots after the jump.

  1. Agreed. The oiled suede really makes these stand out.

Has Loake done any collabs with other brands? Would be a good way to reach a new, younger audience (has worked for the other 3 you mentioned).

  2. No they haven’t done any collaborations as of yet, which is a bit odd.
