A few images of the new Prada Travel Accessories Collection are beginning to make their way online. Love brings a stack up of the travel luggage in its color array. The color options are wide and we’re sure you’ll find one that matches your look.

Pierre Paulin designed the “Tulip Chair” in 1965. Atop a metal frame, a foam core is covered by a choice of upholstery. Clearly, Paulin was inspired by the opening petals of the flower, which gives the chair its line. (via Retro To Go).

Last week Diet Butcher Slim Skin held an installation for their AW09 collection entitled ’strange birds’. As you can see from the picture above, the collection featured several biker-inspired pieces, including a very interesting down jacket with a waist cut like a waistcoat. The installation is a very victorian-esque display – albeit one where mannequins with the heads of birds are decked out in Diet Butcher Slim Skin’s AW09 clothing.

Heritage is a hot term right now – so it only makes sense for us to feature a true heritage brand who haven’t hopped on the history boasting bandwagon. Church’s collection does have several trend-led items such as suede desert boots and penny loafers, but they’re finished to a much higher degree than any designer shoe we can think of – and at about half the price, with the boots above costing £165. The collection, which is in Church’s stores now, features suede shoes, tasselled loafers and slimline brogues.

This is definitely good news. Designer Martin Margiela will be launching a home collection. Finally you can also decorate your home with his smart and clean design objects.

“Maison Martin Margiela on Tuesday showcased its new furniture prototypes and home objects at the international furniture and design exhibition Salone del Mobile here.

Wallpaper, bookshelves, lamps and carpets were some of the new items on display in the showroom, which reproduced the company’s interior design workshop in Paris.

The project is still a work-in-progress and will likely range from the design of objects and furniture in a self-produced collection or in the development of one-off partnerships, according to Pungetti. The company will also do commissions for individuals or public interior design and architecture.” Via WWD.

For some reason, Spring Court collaborations always tend to come off a little too over-the-top. Sometimes with such a simple design, overdoing the embellishments can just kill the whole look of the sneaker. Resistance recently got together with Spring Court and while some of the results are a little off putting (I’m talking to you, animal print mid-tops) the gem of the collection are the ones we’ve framed above. The green and black twill is understated enough to fit into whatever your current look is whilst still being different enough from the regular springcourts to warrant a purchase. Get it from Oki-Ni.
