Shawn Stussy is onto something new these days. Decades after birthing the Stussy surf and street line, Mr, Stussy is onto more refined products these days. His S/Double footwear line is his latest outing in the fashion world and he’s not one to keep things secret. The “Stadium” show is the latest shoe in his collection to get a sneak peek. “Worn by English Lit. professors, students and dropouts alike, they made their way west, ending up in L.A jazz clubs as well as the Malibu pit… This classic deserves a fresh look, as we have chunked up the curves to give it a solid stance on whatever coast you hang… They will be available sometime in June.”

Japan’s Man of Moods delivers their Spring 2009 collection. Yes, you can find MoM domestically in North America if you look hard enough. As usual, Fashionisto has the word on the collection. “Titled ‘Geometrical’,’ one would assume that the latest collection from popular Japanese label Man ofMoods would embrace shapes of all sizes and colors, but that is not the case. Last season’s “Morans” collection was all about bright colors and “M” emblems. This season, however, takes a step back with a color palette that is generally subdued. Clean space is created by basing the collection on grounding colors black and gray.”
