Today is that unofficial/official start to Summer in the United States. And when the weather is on point for Memorial Day, we hit the beaches. Today, I am taking a pair of Quiksilver Diamond Dobby Board Shorts with me to the sand. Choose from 20 or 22 inch length in a variety of patterns. But what youre buying here is the Diamond Dobby technology that makes them some of the most comfortable of board shorts. Serious.

“Because of the innovative, embossed diamond-patterned material, 30% less of the boardshort actually touches your skin resulting in a rash-free surf experience. In addition to virtually eliminating rashing and chafing, the material reaches the pinnacle of comfort and performance with 33% vertical stretch and remarkable fabric memory to maintain shape.”

  1. Kyle:

How much did Quicksilver pay you to make this post?

  2. We do not accept pay for placement on Selectism. They just happened to be pretty damn good board shorts.

  3. BOB:

THOSE THINGS ARE GARBAGE. THEY ARE NOT EMBOSSED. IT IS A WOVEN DOBBY AND THEY PULL AND FRAY EASILY. I BET IF YOU SURFED YOU WOULD KNOW THAT. THEY BIT THIS TECHNOLOGY OFF OF NIKE SHERE! COMPLETE GARBAGE!

  4. Dane:

Look, I have two pairs of diamond dobby’s both of which are quiksilver. Not once have they frayed, given me chaffing or stretch. I surf and body board and these shorts are excellent technology. I reckon that Quiksilver may have possibly stumbled across the next best thing for water clothing. So @BOB I think perhaps that you should have your own pair of these wonderful shorts before criticizing their creation.
