Denim Laser-Etching Machine at Diesel 5th Ave

diesel denim laser etching 000 Denim Laser Etching Machine at Diesel 5th Ave

For anyone who is interested in laser etching the inside (or outside) of their waistband, Diesel on 5th Avenue is now offering a $10 service to give your denim the old school moniker treatment. This takes matching to a new level. Where in the streetwear world, matching your cap to your laces and shirt graphics was the rage, you can now complement your LL Bean Bag with denim that has the same finish. It’s also beneficial for those overnight stays which you need to make a hasty escape. No need to check the size on the waist to see if they’re yours or hers. Just look for your initials, bro. Read more about this service at Racked.

Victorinox Swiss Army continues to celebrate their 125th anniversary with a variety of jubilee products. We previewed the Infantry Vintage Watches recently, but our new favorite is this collaboration with Airstream Trailers. The “Victorinox Special Edition Airstream” is a 19 foot trailer with a production run of 125 units, much like the watch and “embodies [Victorinox and Airstream's] shared qualities and philosophies: precision, functionality, reliability and a classically elegant design”

Today, our Northern (i.e. Canadian) friends and neighbors at H(Y)R released the twelfth issue of their self titled online magazine. A touch more robust than previous issues, no. 12 brings readers through the Red Wing Factory and the mind of Engineered Garment’s designer Daiki Suzuki. There is also a nod to cult classic Take Ivy. Congrats to Ryan and co. on the new issue.

Erik Schedin does his best to carry some of the more interesting of products. Take for example the first set of items that came into his shop last year as part of the “Simple Things” series. In the latest go around, Schedin ads in a simple black hat, an Acme whistle, and these Japan on Danner Light Boots. The full grain leather boot is finished in tan with a men.style friendly black sole with Gore-tex lining.

N.D.C Made by Hands Accessories Autumn/Winter 2009

ndc accessories autumn 2009 01 N.D.C Made by Hands Accessories Autumn/Winter 2009

N.D.C’s accessories range launched last season and now they’ve given us images of their new AW09 accessories, which is just as desirable as the last. Our favourite piece is the bag above, which would require a large amount of attitude to carry it off without looking like you try too hard. For those who like their luggage without the flash, there’s a plain leather tan holdall and a dark brown tote that’s very businesslike. Other pieces include document and passport holders and their slogan wallets are also sure to provoke a reaction – although it’ll be a negative one.

Take a look at the rest of the collection after the jump.

V::Room Grey Marl Crew Neck Sweater

v room crew neck V::Room Grey Marl Crew Neck Sweater

We featured V::Room a while ago when they were on a Japanese website, so in the interest of fairness we’ve decided to showcase a piece which is actually available in the Western hemisphere. Supremely comfortable materials like Grey Marl have become the materials of choice for the fashion forward lately, which is fantastic news for those who love the material but hate the cuts it’s available in. This piece is on sale and while you may not be splurging right now, it’s difficult to overlook a well priced product. Get it from Oki-Ni.
