Mismo, the Danish makers of fine luggage, are bringing out a new colourway of their canvas collection. Instead of changing the whole collection every season, Mismo have sensibly decided to add different colourways that compliment the existing collection. The new colourway is called curry and the entire collection, from holdall to laptop sleeve, will be available in this colour. The collection will be dropping at Oki-Ni around the end of July.
We’ve seen our fair share of woven belts since Anderson’s made their comeback, but this Paul Smith one stands out. First off, it’s thick enough to not get confused for a women’s belt (you’d be surprised at how many woven belts fall at this hurdle). And most importantly, the colour used in the belt isn’t done in an overbearing way, so the belt would suit a higher number of outfits than a multicoloured belt would. Get it from Paul Smith.

Rogues Gallery continues to emerge as a major player in the re-surging heritage inspired sector.

It’s purchase week at Selectism as I continue to look through the latest Spring attire for items to fill my closet. This gingham blue chalk woodmans shirt from BBlessing is a good fit. Made in the USA, the shirt is simple and universally proper for a variety of denim tones.

A great naval inspired short coat from Resistance. The double breasted jacket is lined with tartan buttons which bring eye catching detail to the coats rather simple design of sharp military edges. Very wearable. Available now at Oki-ni.

A play on the classic t-shirt from Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair. This t-shirt is built with two pintucks that “at side and twisted side seams for shape.” This is a great addition for the shorter guys who want to keep their tee’s a bit more to the waist height than below it. Makes you look taller, not shorter. (oaknyc)

The second bike from Freeman Transport is the Gravel Racer. As an ode to co-founder Nathaniel Freeman’s great-great-grandfather (an industrial revolution era inventor), the guys have utilized a gun metal finish – richly patinaed with blues and ferric browns. The bike can be built as a fixed gear or with coaster breaks. They are available as a frame set, or in two builds. Also, the option for couplers exists (just as on their track bike), but the Gravel Racer can be ordered without.
A beautiful cruiser. Images from our good friend Mr. ACL.
