While Hackett is respected and viewed as a heritage brand (which it is) outside of the UK, those on UK soil have know that it’s had a slight image problem for a few years now. Usually being worn by ‘chavs’ (google it if you don’t know the term) would kill off most brands, as it nearly did Burberry, but Hackett have managed to drive a wedge between the Hackett polo wearing cab driver and the man who’d buy items like this shaving kit from their upcoming Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. Aside from being well made and classy, we can’t help but notice how similar the logo on top of the shaving arm is to our own – it’s clear they have great taste.

Before anyone says anything smart – we know that the last thing you’re looking for now is knitwear, but bear with us. This jumper is great for a few reasons and unique for one. The reasons for greatness are it’s fit (slim), the trim (contrasting) and the price (£91, down from £130). The uniqueness comes from the embroidered daisy pattern which you can see on the right hand side. ‘Understated’ and ‘floral embroidered jumper’ aren’t two things you usually hear in the same sentence but they’re the words we’d use to describe this top. I can’t get enough of the Spring Court B2 sneakers. Simply one of the most comfortable hi-top sneaker on the market. Don’t believe me? Slip a pair on and tell me that the airsole is not the first thing you notice about these perforated beauties. Killer fit and they look great. Classic and timeless.

Yohi Yamamoto’s Coming Soon line still confuses people when we mention it, but we’ll all need to get over it. The wears are properly fashioned for those looking for a more relaxed “youthful” vibe. Take these two work vests from Coming Soon – one in chambray and the other in herringbone. One is perfect for the farmhand, while the other is tailored for the Brandon Flowers in all of us. The other day we gave you a look at the Matthew Williamson For H&M lookbook. Not only is it an interesting collaboration, it is also the first ever mens collection by the designer. Here we give you a look at the accessories of the collection. The line-up includes sunglasses, sneakers, a scarf and a belt. The entire collection certainly has a strong summer theme and uses lots of color. The accessories perfectly match that direction.

Lagom is a rather young brand brooding with a touch of Scandinavian design. Their mini collection for Summer 2009 is a sporty take on the Sherlock Holmes world of disguise. Pitched in all black, the wears consisting of a hooded sweatshirt, shorts, and deerstalker cap. All three pieces look great, but let’s swap out those shoes on the model, please.
