Another great man tote is on the market. This one from the people at Italy’s Daniel & Bob. Take a look at the photo above. This tote is a total weekender. It’s larger enough to fill up for a long haul weekend. Smooth leather wraps the bag from handles to base. A nice look. (arks)

Gary Winogrand’s photographs of street scapes, suburbs, and consumer culture played a vital role in a establishing the look of “American” photography in the 20th-century. prps autumn 2009 01 PRPS Autumn/Winter 2009

We interviewed PRPS founder Donwan Harrell yesterday and today we have his new AW09 collection to show you. As to be expected of PRPS, the focus is on denim in its various forms – from jeans to jackets to shirts – although there are one or two non-denim pieces to be found within the collection. As touched on yesterday, the denim is African (Zimbabwean, to be exact) cotton, thats woven on vintage American looms and made in Japan, so you can be assured of its quality.

Take a leap to look after the full collection.

Jil Sander Cobalt Blue Belt

jil sander belt Jil Sander Cobalt Blue Belt

If you’ve been reading monthly magazines, you may have noticed a couple of ‘blue is coming back’ editorials and articles. While blue is one of those colours that always makes a comeback when there isn’t really anything new coming in, we do agree with the sentiment. The cobalt blue colour would go great with a pair of grey jeans or, to a lesser extent, chinos. As you’d expect from a Jil Sander piece, it isn’t cheap – coming in at £180 ($256). Get it from Matches.

Sperry Lime Green Suede Deck Shoes

sperry green suede deck shoe 01 Sperry Lime Green Suede Deck Shoes

We know, we know – more deck shoes. While last year they were seen as fresh, this year a lot of people seem to have tired of them. We’re not one of those people. In summer, they’re just the most appropriate shoe to wear when your not wearing out your springcourts. It seems like everyone’s got at least one pair of Sperrys, but we don’t think many will be rocking the green suede versions. Get it from Farfetch.

Check after the jump for detailed images.

apartamento Magazine | Atelier de la Petite Enfance

apartamento magazine issue3 540x360 apartamento Magazine | Atelier de la Petite Enfance

In recent months we have heard a lot about Spanish magazine apartamento. Taking a completely new approach in the interior design magazine market, they try to capture real interiors and real people – a very intruiging and much needed approach. Finally an interiors magazine that one can relate to.

Today we had the opportunity to flip through their new issue 3, the Spring/Summer 2009 issue. Already the feel and quality of the magazine make a statement by themselves and the content follows that feel of quality 100%. We came across a very interesting article, an interview with A.P.C. founder and designer Jean Touitou. The designer talked about his latest venture – the opening of a kindergarten in Paris, named A.P.E. or Aterlier de la Petite Enfance.

“After 20 years spent in the fashion industry I wanted to touch at last on something related to civilization.” – Jean Touitou.

It is only one of  many great articles in the magazine, that we can highly recommend!
