02. Madrid’s ‘Distrito C’ Self Shading Solar Office

There is a certain perceived stuffiness in the Autumn/Winter 2009 collection from Robert Geller. Forgive me but the wears remind me of tight Victorian Age fashions that accentuate the figure rather than the individual. With that said, Geller does take aim and brightening the colorwheel for Autumn with shades of purple and bush. Falco friendly wears from Robert Geller.

For June, Lodger Footwear will be producing a saddle shoe constructed of rich walnut grain leather and biscuit nubuck. The sole is Goodyear-welted leather, and the enamelled eyelets provide the stays for a contrasting waxed linen lace. Produced in Lodger’s English factory, the saddle shoe is the June Shoe of the Month, meaning you’ll have just one month to line up a pair for yourself.

Illustrator Adam Simpson received his MFA from the Royal College of Art in 2006. His latest high profile commission comes Terence Conran, who tapped Simpson to device a graphic for the elevators of his new hotel in Shoreditch, London. Simpson’s work is based on a multitude of “boundaries” with an aesthetic in keeping with the Victorian origin of the building. All the work is hand drawn and then pieced together digitally.
