They just keep on coming. More deck shoes on the market This time we’re looking at France’s Paraboot. We love that they’re waterproof as well as handmade and handstitched. They also produce shoes for everyone from SOPHnet to Hermes. Well done. (oipolloi)

  1. I have a pair in forest green, and they’re one of the best pairs of shoes I’ve ever owned. Not only are they gorgeous, but they’re extremely comfortable right out of the box. They also come with brown soles too, though that style is a bit harder to find.

  2. David:

Pricey but the best you can get. They last for years and will not dye your feet blue when wet. Just bought a third pair on a recent trip to France. Bought a pair in the 1980s and finally laid them to rest under the new garage in 2006.
