Louis Erard comes through with a regulator style dial on their 1931 Power Reserve offering. Timezone reports that this is a joint effort between Louis Erard & Soprod SA. We love the black PVD finish on the model above, but do not sleep on the options available from this Swiss watch maker.

Sperry Topsider produced two pair of neon colored limited edition boat shoes for Jeffrey New York. We have certainly seen a lot of different takes on the boat shoe in recent years, ever since the model gained mainstream popularity again, but neon on the boat shoe is new. HOBO retrofits their tassle look onto a pair of Desert Trek Clarks. Now, the Desert Trek solo is one of my favorite day shoes of all time – you can wear them until they break down. It’s one of those items that looks better with wear. But we know where HOBO is pulling this tassled influence from. I wonder how well this shoe will go off in Japan. Available now from oki-ni.

Summer bike commuting brings with it a whole series of problems. The first is heat – but that is combined with cool mornings, quick rain fall, and that insatiable desire to hang out a bit after work. Can a single pair of trousers fill these requirements? Outlier believes one can (or rather, that two can, being as they offer a selection of cuts). Taking what they developed over the last few seasons, the Outlier team has built their OG Pants and slimmer Climber pants with lighter fabrics. The summer editions repel moisture from the surface, and wick moisture from the inside. Basically, win and win. The fabric used is 180 g/m, lined with a loose weave cool max and covered with 3xDry.

Jean//Phillip is a young, up and coming label from Copenhagen who are rolling non-stop into a territory of fashion usually reserved for the high end players. “For a label so young, the monochromatic collection of complimentary textures and finishes is quite impressive. The collection goes out of its way to exhibit a sense of modernism, while still maintaining highly desirable and very ready-to-wear.” (fashonisto)

Super Contemporary finds The Design Museum teaming with Beefeater to commission 15 of the city’s leading design minds to create something that enhances life in the Smoke. Some of the selected group chose to give ubiquitous items a makeover (a bus stop for example). Others among the 15 went for ideas that respond to weather and other London nuisances. Two Japanese made shorts from SassaFras. One pair of finished in rip stop cotton while the second is a corduroy deal made of a hamp/cotton mix (trending). There are a pair of denim shorts in there too. Both pairs offer oversized pockets on the hips and should keep your skinnies protected while shining some sun on ya. (utilitycoop)

Another day, another shoe collection. It’s fair to say we love our shoes here and now we have a Selectism favourite in Grenson, who’ve given us a full look into the AW09 collection (which we previewed back in February). Out of all the classic shoe makers, Grenson have been making the most moves, collaborating with everyone from Rag & Bone to Albam (and there’s more collabs in the pipeline, check back here for news on that later). Sticklers for authenticity will be glad to know that they still make their shoes in Northampton to the same exacting standards of yesteryear – the same can’t be said for many of their competitors.

The collection itself still sticks to their classic Grenson staples (Archie, Noble, Oscar, etc) but they have pushed the boat out slightly with a patent leather Sharp brogue boot and a couple of other fashion-forward touches. Brogue-wise, they’ve got both the American and British style with the Archie and Frankie – while we prefer the English brogue (Archie) there’s something for longtip lovers as well.

Today the first collection of Pretty Green by Liam Gallagher has launched. Their Spring/Summer 2009 offering mostly consists of basics, including t-shirts, knitwear, jackets, hats and scarfs with logo placements. The line is now available in their online store.
