Wintle for Marks & Spencers

Vogue (via Men.Style) turns us on to the news that menswear designer Jsen Wintle will be collaborating with Marks & Spencers. This will be M&S’s first foray into a menswear capsule collection and it’ll include leather biker jackets, cable knit jumpers and pea coats.

‘Perception is reality’ is an often used phrase (which we’re sure we’ve just mangled) and it applies perfectly to Marks and Spencers. Despite selling many on-trend pieces (boat shoes, brogues, loafers, merino wool sweaters) they’re seen as old and fusty by most customers.

While we’re a little taken aback by the idea of biker jackets at Marks and Sparks, we’re anxious to see the final outcome when it launches in September.
