97 lots went up this afternoon (GMT) of 20th-Century British Art at Christies. Pieces by David Hockney, Ruskin Spear, and Sir Noel Coward were among the works on offer. Though the sale has now finished, it is well worth going through the online catalog. A lovely representation of the centuries styles and idioms.

  1. There is a Kyffin Williams hanging on one of the walls in my flat and two Ceri Richard’s in the Shop.

Two vastly overlooked genius’ and both greatly missed.
