Selectism - Burkman Brothers Spring/Summer 2010 Looks

ACL drops in on Burkman Brothers for a preview look at their forthcoming Burkman Brothers Spring/Summer 2010 collection. “The new offerings for fall are of a similar vein to what was presented for SS09 and this past fall winter collection. The line is a strong mix of colorful wovens paired with khaki and twill pants, not to mention light madras outwear and a small selection of knits. At first glance the collection doesn’t seem very different from what is out there, but when you get up close the devil really is in the details.”

More looks from the Burkman Brothers Spring/Summer 2010 collection after the jump.

I don\’t want to be negative, but if you tell me these are from GAP, i\’ll believe you.

  2. I think that’s more of a sign that Gap is getting their stuff together, than BB is losing a step. Patrick Robinson is doing some pretty impressive stuff this fall.

  3. The Brothers Burkman previously worked for GAP.

Disregard their former affiliation with GAP. There’s no denying that these guys have a definitively creative direction in which their style, and collections, travel in. I love their clothes. Own most pieces from fall 2009, and I have to say that I’m looking forward to a Barney’s trip in the near future. Love it. Love it all.
