Want to celebrate a hundreds year legacy? Pendleton knows how to go about it. “This fall, Opening Ceremony teams up with Pendleton to celebrate their hundred year anniversary. Marking Pendleton’s first collaboration is the small collection that takes Pendleton’s signature patterns and pairs them with Opening Ceremony’s undeniably chic cuts. Altogether, the collection is both cozy and vibrant–perfect for this fall. Look forward to the collection hitting stores in August.” (fashonisto)

Italy’s Volta Footwear is showing at Bread & Butter Berlin this week. They debut a new line of canvas based shoes available in a variety of colors and silhouettes. Our HS editor is awfully fond of the white colored models which have a slightly “distressed” look due to the canvas material (seen above). Well done.

A.P.C have been making moves lately, opening stores in Hong Kong and London as well as collaborating with street superbrand Supreme. Their AW09 collection continues their mastery of the basics, featuring contrast collar shirts, sailor inspired sweatshirts and the trend that never dies, check shirts.

The it-coat of AW09, the duffle, also makes an appearance as does a cropped plaid jacket and a parka (pictured above). Check out the pictures after the hop and skip.

COS Washed Denim Shirt

cos washed denim shirt COS Washed Denim Shirt

Although denim shirts have offically made a comeback, it’s still a challenge to get hold of an affordable, well made one if you’re nowhere near a J.Crew. This COS shirt is a great, soft washed denim and the fit is like the rest of COS’s shirts – perfect. The slim collar means it also lends well to being buttoned up to the top – so it’ll work well as a layering piece in the winter. Add in the £39 cost (half price now in the sales) and this is a no brainer. Like all COS pieces, this isn’t available online, so finding a store is your only option. (COS)

Check after the leap for detailed shots.

Edifice Spread Collar Shirt

edifice short sleeved shirt 01 Edifice Spread Collar Shirt

Like we always say, it’s the details that count. From a distance, this is just a regular old short sleeved shirt. But on further inspection the spread collar (usually used on more formal shirts) give this shirt an interesting twist. It won’t look as good buttoned all the way up as other shirts but given the sweltering heat in many places, perhaps that’s a good thing. (Style Cruise)

Take a look after the leap for detailed shots.
