The Design Museum, in partnership with Conran Octopus, have announced a new book series. These books will focus on a single product, outlining the 50 designs within that “changed the world.” Shoes, dresses, cars, and chairs are included in the initial run.
The books begin releasing in early October.

Awesomous maximus! I’m particularly interested in the chair book- the eames’, the womb, the bubble, no doubt? Will it be available in a box set? What is the time span for these lists- modern?
Other sets of 50 that changed the world I’d like to see (although of course they already exist in some shape or form in other publications):
- Advertising campaigns
- Residential Houses
- Places/Landmarks
- Festivals
