Patagonia Wind Jacket

13 August 2009, 00.10 | Posted in Fashion | 3 comments »

Selectism - Patagonia Wind Jacket

Here’s a nice green winbreaker from Patagonia which features a DWR protective layer to keep the water out. “A super lightweight, lightly insulated wind proof jacket designed for use as a layering piece or an outer layer, its the urban dream camouflage and flak jacket.” Stuff it in the pack during those long weekends at Ditch Plains.

More looks at the Patagonia Wind Jacket after the jump.

  1. I love Patagonia, and have more of their stuff than practically anyone. Wearing it right now! But their obsession with putting logos on the chest for the past three years has put me off. There are only two brands that should put logos on the chest: polo by RL, and Lacoste. All others, please stop, you are not doing yourself any favors.

So, as a result, the green jacket looks like it might be the best jacket in the world, but, alas, I will never know, due to that glaring, blaring white logo.

    Rich,

Many would disagree with you about the logo. The horse in particular is considered disgustingly ubiquitous by many. Besides, it’s just their name and it’s really pretty small. I just picked up a retro x jacket from Patagonia last night so my Patagonia purchasing is done for now, but I really like this jacket.

  3. Dave:

Branding redundancy pisses me off. This jacket looks well made and cool enough to figure out that it\’s a Patagonia without the ostentatious display. The same can nearly almost always be said for Polo and Lacoste. Don\’t make me your billboard.
