The design borrows cues from traditional Inuit eyewear, which was designed solely to provide protection from dazzling sunlight and did not have conventional lenses. The very graphic and square-edged frame is inspired by the collection’s leitmotiv of protection and is reminiscent of war face paint.” Look for them in November.

I love the science behind the shade, but after Kanye did it, it just seemed trashy and cannot help but maintain that opinion of shutter shades and shutter-like shades.
this definitely is edgier than the simple shades that had several rectangles cut out of them. i would imagine the way these shades were done would better protect the eyes from the sun?
