We’re simple minded folks. Give us something that looks pretty and we’re hooked. Case in point: Uppercase magazine. We saw it, thought it looked nice and wrote about it. It’s as simple as that.
Based in Canada, Uppercase magazine is the work of Janine Vangool and Deidre Martin, who both work for Uppercase studio in varying capacities. The magazine is tagged as ‘a magazine for the creative and curious’ and, unsurpisingly given the tagline, features interviews with creatives ranging from photographers to film directors.
We like the features and all that jazz, but the drawing point for us is the strong design. We won’t even waste your time blowing our horns about it, just take a leap to look at preview shots from issue 2.
