With Barbour jacket’s finding their way onto every Hoxtonite in sight, finding a waxed cotton jacket that doesn’t look out misplaced in the city has become a tough task. Our main issue wasn’t that it looked bad per se; it just didn’t feel right wearing a pristine Barbour in the city.
Updating a classic, Lou Dalton’s jacket is a refreshing shade of burgundy, separating the wearer from the swathes of navy’s, grey and military greens that menswear is fond of this season. On top of this, it’s also got the added bonus of being made in England. Price is £275 and it’s available from Daniel Jenkins.

love the concept and love the color, but i cant help but imagine that the jacket would be better if it were cut slimmer.
perhaps alternations are needed?
I think it’s cut slim enough as is; in my ever so humble opinion, I think a winter jacket should have room for a good few layers underneath and this has that.
