Following up on our coverage of Garbstore’s Autumn/Winter 2009 collection, here is a direct look at one of our favorite pieces – the 1950s Motor Sweat. The saddle sleeved flat lock top is a wardrobe staple. Very subtle branding is key. As is a generous, but not baggy cut.
If you are anything like our good friend Gary, this will be something to get excited about.

can’t really get behind this one because umm…it’s a f*cking plain sweatshirt!
I purchased this a few weeks ago. Absolutely not recommended because of the fit. Honestly, not only is it oversized, but the armpits hang out like batwings. Take another look at the pictures and notice how the armpits are tucked and folded in. Plus, the sleeves are about two inches too long.
Avoid this one.
it’s like a biker jacket: designed to be worn whilst riding a ‘motorcycle’ hence the name ‘ motor sweat’. Authentic or stoopid?
