I crawled NYC flea markets, vintage shops, and even Cabelas to get my hands on this classic hunting check jacket. None of them fit – ever. They were simply too baggy and non-fitted for my liking but that may have well changed. Based on the photos I’m seeing on Blackbird of the new “Woolrich John Rich & Bros” version, we finally may have a proper modern cut on this giant classic – though it cost double the price of the mainline version. About time.

Now every skinny waif fashion queen will be sporting this look fucking it up,
wearing girls jeans halfway down their ass and bad headwear and cheap shoes!
Let’s hope not. If anything, it finally fits for normal dude who may not happen to be over 6ft.
greg chapman shut up asshole.
Sounds like Jason is a Skinny fashion queen!
With the trim fit, one can hardly swing a shotgun on a pheasant. And the rear pocket (if there is one) isn\’t big enough for a wallet, least of all a couple of rabbits. Yes, its a proper modern hunting coat–i.e., not suited for hunting.
