Abington Hiker Boot

Abington, Timberland’s upper class big brother label, has just dropped in at End. Using leather from Horween (the blogger’s choice of leather) and Vibram soles, these shoes are every details-obsessed blogger’s dream. And while we’re talking vibram soles, isn’t it odd that the term has become an offical blog buzzword?

The main problem with a boot like this is fitting it into their daily attire. While these can work with a pair of straight leg jeans, we’d steer clear of the Cheap Monday cuts. You don’t want to look like a hipster who just found workwear through Opening Ceremony – even if you did. (End)

You know the drill – more pictures after the leap.

  1. I have last years model in black. They’re quite comfortable, and the Horween chromexcel leather is great. The vibram sole and padded ankle make them great to walk in, but they don’t keep your feet dry in rain – something about how the tongue joins the rest of the shoe. But for cool fall days pounding the pavement? Great.

  2. JAB:

    Where are they made?

  3. MARTIN G:

    Hello,

Where can buy the Abington Hiker boots in color dark brown (as on the pictures)

A web site will be perfect because i’m living in France

Thanks in advance for your help

  4. Andy:

you can buy them from http://www.urbanoutfitters.com

  5. A Mackenzie:

Maybe the leather is Horween and the soles are Vibram, but just returned a pair, as an eylet fell apart after 3 days, American legend Chinese made??
