I’m developing a bit of an affinity for simple metal frames in furniture of late. The Bertus Armchair, designed by Alain Monnens for Durlet, fits the bill. A stitched leather seat slides into the frame, which provides both support and the armrests. The tilt of the armchair is also rather fetching. (via Daily Icon).
