Church’s Keats Loafer

Say what you want about Church’s, but they’re one brand who haven’t gone down the collaboration route. And, in a world where Turnbull & Asser is collaborating with BBC, that says a lot. Loafers have been threatening to go back in style for a few years now, but it looks like this is the year when people finally start giving it a shot. While we’ve seen a few tassled loafers knocking about, these are by far our favourite. These are available on Church’s e-store, but as they’re in love with flash we can’t link directly to the page. If you need directions, it’s under the ‘loafers’ tab. (Church’s)

Take a leap to see the rest of the colourways Church’s have in stock.

I have been wearing Church’s Keats for 20 years. mainly as a smart casual shoe. They are exceptional in all aspects. Third pair arrived this week. Church’s were making them to order up to 4 weeks ago and I took delivery in just 5 weeks despite an initial indication of a 10 week waiting period. These shoes seem to last forever. I have both the black and burgundy loafers. My 20 year old pair still look like new and polish to a high shine but are beginning to wear inside so I ordered the new pair. I am sure they will outlive me. As an alternative, try the Church’s “Salisbury” particularly nice in the Nevada Light Tan.
