While duffle coats had been doing the rounds amongst the super-early adopters last year (Oi Polloi have been carrying Gloverall for years now), it was only recently that Duffle coats were fully brought back into fashion mainstream. And one of the main instigators was this Band Of Outsiders duffle. The black colourway makes it a little less versatile than the usual navy duffle, but the detachable hood – big enough to fit any size noggin – and cropped length more than make up for that. really good. dope. awesome
Nothing is more versatile than black. You guys are retarded.
While black is technically more versatile than navy, navy meshes much better with the colours usually in a guys wardrobe (beige, grey, burgundy, dark green, etc, etc). Nearly every colour that looks good with black, looks great with navy. You couldn’t wear a black coat and navy denim for example – well, you could, but it wouldn’t look good.
£1,900?!
Not to self promote (too much) but I interviewed Scott Sternberg a couple of weeks ago and it might go some way to explaining why Band costs the price it does. Go check it.
Totally agree with Jason Dike on the black vs. navy issue.
Basquiat sure likes it
