Here’s another great quilted jacket – this time it’s from Ralph Lauren. And, in case you were wondering, this is from his Polo range. There’s always a transitional phase when it comes to new (or not so new) styles coming into fashion. The main one is just getting used to something visually – that’s one of the reasons why most people can’t cope with wide leg trousers. Now everyone’s visually adjusted to quilted jackets we can start picking out ones with quirky details. The detail on this is the gunpatch, which breaks up the monotony quite nicely. (Ralph Lauren)

I think I tried this jacket on recently at Bloomy\’s actually. It fits really well and yeah the gunpatch is definitely a welcomed touch!
I hated wide leg and boot cut trousers the last time they came around and I hope they don’t come back. Who wants tree stumps for legs?
