We’ve all heard the horror stories about the state of magazines at the moment; if they’re not shutting down, they’re scaling back, but what about other ways to cut costs? Tank magazine have found a novel answer – spiral bounding. The bounding is cheaper than the usual bounding methods and allows for easier use. You could even leave it open like a coffee table book. In fact, it’s such a great idea that we’re wondering why other magazines haven’t made use of the method.

  1. Agreed. Am culling the magazines over-populating my house at the moment, tearing out exceptional pages to keep; this would make it easier too.
