Some background on the Beacon collection. “The Beacon brand was first introduced in 1908 in Barbour’s first ever catalogue and remained an established brand name for almost fifty years. In the first catalogue in 1908, a range of oilskin jackets and trousers were sold as multi purpose all weather garments and came in four different qualities ranging in price from 10s 6d to 14s 6d in a variety of lengths and sizes.” Absolutely solid jacket.
