Hay! I love these shoes. I unfortunalty ware a six 13 ladies and am wonderin\’ if they make these in my size. I probably need to get my toenails done but last time I er tried to go to the nail saloon they threw me out cuz of all the brown dirt under my feet. i guess i need to go on down to the Mart and get me some new soap to warsh my feet.

These designs are not original at all. The high cut is a literal line for line knock off of the Nike Scandal upper minus the swoosh. Ingelmo\’s sneaker from his first season is essentially a knock off of the Air Force One. This guy is not a designer, he is merely a knock off artist!

I\’m not mad for these, either, but I DID like the crazy space shoes, so… Also – in my experience price point doesn\’t necessarily equal quality construction (Dior!) but I have worn my Ingelmos for a couple of years and they\’re holding up well! These could grow on me…

This review reminds me of Nine Inch Nails (NIN) first album in 7 years that came out a few years ago. A lot of fans and critics complained “this isn’t NIN, it’s different”. When asked about that, Trent Reznor, who is NIN, made just that statement; “I am NIN and I like people to like my music but my primary concern is as an artist that I create and don’t just remake the same over and over again.” In the same way, a shoe designer is an artist and good one will keep creating, despite the resistance from people who like what was done in the past and who would like things to stay that way in the future. Unfortunately that’s a betrayal of who the artist is as a person. Bravo Alejandro!

I am obsessed with Alejandro Ingelmo and his shoes! His designs, attention to detail, and construction techniques have changed and opened footwear to wonderful possibilities. He is pushing the envelope and is at the forefront… Just look at that metallic sole?!?! Wow! These designs are sick and I am looking forward to being stopped on the street for wearing these shoes.

This man is a genius and its so nice to see something completely new in terms of sneakers. These have an awesome architectural appeal unlike the other mundane sneakers out there that just try to use bright colors to stand out. I agree that they will grow on people who aren\’t sure about them. Alejandro knows exactly what he is doing and I definitely don\’t doubt it.

My problem with them isn’t that they’re bad per se; it’s more that these kind of shoes are available everywhere and anywhere. And add in the fact that Ingelmo’s prices are pretty high, you’d be better off getting a pair of CP’s, GM’s or Gourmet’s.

I think it\’s a nice change from those crazy metallic patent space shoes I\’ve seen from last year/season.
Nice clean lines and a touch of detail is always good.
Don\’t think those side panels or structures will break, or you would hope not considering the price point.
I bet they will grow on most of those who aren\’t sure about them.

I actually like them! I\’m sure the pictures do not do the real thing justice. What I find the coolest would be the soles in either silver or gold, which is not very apparent here but when you look closely, they are metallic.
