In the last of our process series we catch with Band of Outsiders founder, Scott Sternberg. Everything that’s needed to be said about Band has been said already, so just take a leap to read about the process in his own words.

We’re growing increasingly infatuated with hats around here. Ever since the hat look has died down for every wannabe indie boy, we’ve been willing to give hats a second look (stonewash denim jackets and tight black jeans are the new porkpie, in case you’re wondering). Now we have the slightly indie-ish Nudie releasing this rather fetching hat for SS10. Now you’ve seen the new look, wear it right: none of this hanging it off your head business.

Ever bought a bag and thought ‘what this bag really needs is a compartment for wine bottles’? On the extreme off chance that you have, this is the bag for you. Moore and Giles teamed up with ‘Esteemed NY mixologist’ Jim Meehan to create this utility bag. It’s got six compartments for wine or spirits and room for the ipod/camera/phone in the front. A yearly fall tradition in my family is going to check out the new Warren Miller flick. This year marks the 60th anniversary of Miller’s films, with the latest narrated by Jonny Mosley. The movies serve to charge us up about the season, and more importantly generate some solid ideas about ski travel.

Ski travel, as you’ll know or imagine, requires some specialized gear. Bags, when long haul flights are concerned, become of prime importance. Glissade knows this well. 04. Audi A8 Mmi Adds Handwriting Recognition To List Of 2011 Features

“The A8’s Multi Media Interface (a fancy name for a nav unit with media player attached) is already a pretty sophisticated piece of tech, but Audi has opted against resting on those laurels and has pushed out a new feature for the luxury saloon’s next iteration. The 2011 A8 (available in Spring 2010 — crazy, we know) will benefit from the same handwriting recognition as promised for the next-gen R8, wherein the user is able to scribble his destination all John Hancock-like and then use the touchscreen to complete his instructions.” (engadget)

Timezone treats us to some first looks at Angular Momentum’s Freehand Pocket Watch. It’s their first pocket watch offering that updates a classic item in ways which we love. “The uni-body case, in stainless steel, measures 46mm.
