Selectism - First Look | Billykirk No. 247 Mini U-Lock Holder

Billykirk takes their stab at refining the belt loop lock holster. Their No. 247 Hand-Stitched & Molded Leather Mini-U-Lock Holders comes in two flavors – as a solo belt u-lock holster or a u-lock holster with pouch closure (No. 247P). The pouch enclosure is a bonus for those who hate stuffing their denim while riding. Choose from black, brown, and tan.

More looks at the Billykirk Mini U-Lock Holder (with or without) Pouch after the click.

  1. I’m very happy with my Billykirk trackbike bag and this is simply another great addition from the people at Billykirk.

Isnt the whole point of a mini-lock to put in your pocket??

  3. I think the point of the mini-lock is to put it in a compact place. Not all denim houses a mini lock. First and foremost, it is to lock your bike.

  4. Exactly. I use a fabric horse u-lock holder on most rides. Despite having a mini-lock, it doesn’t fit all my trousers comfortably.

the thing with this, is that it’s not practical. i mean, yeah, it’s “fancy” and hand stitched, but when it rains… just sayin.

  6. mention:

it’s beautiful and i fully support the creative process but as a product to be used i’d be afraid of the potential for severe back trauma should someone fall on their back.

  7. jacob:

are they asking us to remove our belts a couple times a day? weird.

  8. Lone:

I appreciate the work on the satchel, but the whole wearable holster thing is silly. The lock belongs with the bike, not your person. Its either going to be doing its job by locking the bike or both will be somewhere you can just leave together.
