Selectism - G-Star launches iPhone App to Discover NYFW

Mobile city guides are some of the most useful tools for those looking for new and exciting stops on their travels. We love city guides even more when they’re relevant not only to the city when they work in conjunction with big events. Take G-Star’s “RAW City Guide” for NYC which has launched just in time for New York Fashion Week. “The RAW City Guide New York iPhone/iTouch app reveals the tastiest restaurants, the coolest bars and clubs, the hippest stores and the hottest art galleries. All these locations are chosen for a youthful audience of art, design and fashion lovers.”

In conjunction with New York Fashion Week, G-Star has also announced the winners of their social media competition. “A Canadian tweeter, an Italian photographer, an American YouTube presenter and a Belgian Facebook fanatic will be sent to New York. A special mash-up page on the G-Star site will go live on February 14, showing all the tweets, blogs, photos and videos from the RAW Reporters and celebrities at Fashion Week.

  1. The world won”t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself.
