selectism - A Weekend at Home | Nashville

It’s currently Antiques Week in Nashville, Tennessee.

While we know that won’t drive many readers to Music City, it was enough for us to make the home of the Titans subject of our “A Weekend at Home” series. In this, the second, installment, Brandon Capps shares his favorite dinning, drinking, and shopping haunts. Included is the Country Music Hall of Fame (above) and some far less touristy spots.

Check out Capps’ full selections here.

  1. Nashville is a fun city to visit. It is the home of country music but today there are many more genres of music here including blues, rock and roll, pop, hip hop and more. Sports is also big here.

We have pro football and hockey teams, a minor league baseball team and the Nashville Super Speedway. In addition to all of this there are museum, great restaurants, shopping and two outdoor water parks.

It is easy to find something fun to do in Nashville.
