SNS Herning Element Sweater

SNS Herning’s SS10 collection has already dropped in stores, so it’s only right that we pick one knit from their collection. This element sweater mixed the functionality or SNS (or, err, any knitwear whatsoever) with some nice design quirks – like the contrast collar and off kilter stripes. As you’d expect with a summer piece, it’s far lighter than the winter knits we’ve grown accustomed to – and that’s no bad thing. Word of advice if you’re getting this piece now: layer up like your life depended on it. (Tres Bien)

Take that leap to see another couple of pictures.

Lodger Footwear February 2010 | The Jodphur Boot

selectism - Lodger Footwear February 2010 | The Jodphur Boot

The Lodger Footwear “Shoe of the Month” program returns with the Jodphur Boot.

Re-interpreting the classic Jodphur Boot, Lodger pulls from the traditional shoe worn by British polo players in India. Given the heat, the typical knee high riding boot was naturally cut down to ankle height. Here the profile is given a contemporary profile and a natural sole edge. The classic two part strap and buckle fastening contrasts the chocolate suede of the boot. And, as nod to equestrian roots, the brass buckle is drawn directly from saddelry.

Available from Lodger this month and this month only.

Opening Ceremony Suede Cardigan

selectism - opening-ceremony-suede-cardigan-01

We’re not sure what to call this. We’re avoiding the journalistic tendency to act like a hipster DJ doing a ‘mash up’ – so we’re not calling this a cacket or jardigan (however tempting that sounds). Whatever it is, it has suede, is a purdy shade of green and costs a fair few pennies. (Farfetch)

No.Zine

selectism - nozine-01

Despite the ongoing publishing crisis, there’s no shortage of new magazines to choose from. The only difference now is that these are increasingly independent as opposed to the old school mainstream magazine launch. The latest one is ‘No.Zine‘, an arts magazine focusing on young people in the arts. Released as a collection (issues 1 to 3 were all released at once) each issue has a visual theme that runs throughout the magazine. (via Linefeed)

Take a gander at some spreads after the leap.
