CqC brings us looks from Gareth Pugh’s Autumn/Winter 2010 runway presentation. The three looks above are what I consider to be the most conservative from this collection which focuses strongly on silhouettes that look cut (or rather borrow) from certain oversized characteristics usually found in a feminine collection. That is not to take away from the progression of fashion towards new terrain which may not be fully embraced… yet. The long overcoat (seen in the gallery) should wake up the comments section.
More looks from the Gareth Pugh Autumn/Winter 2010 runway show after the click.

keanu reeves goes darth vader..please…gimme a break. i applaud the effort of you giving praise to some other designers than the usual bunch (mostly you advertiser’s..springcourt anyone?)..but this is clearly not the way to go.
Ignoring the fact that Springcourt haven’t advertised with us for months, we genuinely do like Springcourts. I’ve liked the shoes for as long as I’ve been able to get hold of them – which was way before I starting blogging here.
The hyper cynicism of readers leaves me in a quandry when it comes to topics like this. Although this blog isn’t as personal as other ones out there, I do blog about things purely because I like them, which is the sole reason you see a brand mentioned a lot around here.

I wouldn’t wear anything from this collection.
It’s overly androgynous, if not effeminate already.
but
I can appreciate the steps in another direction.
Pushing the limits of fashion and all that
and i can definitely think of a few people who’d like the sheer standout factor of the collection.
