Stephan Schneider Denim Trousers

Are mens’ waistlines expanding? We ask because there seems to be a large amount of designers making trousers with elasticated waistbands. Stephan Schneider is the latest designer to throw his hat into the ring with these denim trousers. While we like the look of these (anything that edges away from super skinny leggings if fine by us) we are slightly worried about the lack of fly – either button or zip. We understand that some folks like to suffer for fashion, but we’re not one of them. (Opening Ceremony)

Take that leap, see those detailed images.

  1. chafe:

Pleats…denim trousers…lots of things wrong going on here…

  2. Yeah I was almost on board until the no-fly.
And then ran away screaming at the lack of pockets in back which make the trousers look not so much like Mom Jeans but Grandma Jeans.

  3. Paine:

You’re kidding me, right? Why are you even posting this? It is absurd.

  4. There are so many things wrong with this picture…medium wash, elastic, pleats. The only thing good is the model wearing them, and you can’t even see the rest of him. Just because there is a high price tag & it is available at a cutting edge boutique, does not make it stylish, just a bad buying decision.
